It started with a conversation at a restaurant in Prague. The owner — a guy who'd been running the place for twelve years — told us he'd never read his Google reviews. Not because he didn't care. He cared deeply. He just had 400+ reviews and no idea where to start. He knew his rating was "somewhere around 4.2" and that was about it.

We pulled up his profile that evening and spent an hour reading through them. What we found surprised both of us. His food scored incredibly well — people loved it. But there was a consistent thread of complaints about wait times on Friday evenings that he had no idea about. Three of his top competitors had better ratings, and all of them were mentioned by his own reviewers as alternatives.
